Complimentary yoga, run by our very own yoga teacher Martina Counsel, is available for all diving clients of Peri Peri Divers. Classes will help you increase strength and stretch your muscles after a day’s diving while enjoying the amazing backdrop of the sun setting over Tofo’s mangroves. While they might seem very different, yoga is the perfect accompaniment to diving: even the fittest divers can find their breathing becomes heavier when stressed by challenging conditions. In yoga, breathing is considered the essential connection between body and mind so classes place a focus on proper inhalation and exhalation. Learning to take full, deep breaths underwater will allow you to have a more a relaxed, stress-free time on your dive. So why not give it a try?
COVID-19
To help divers prepare for the new reality of diving during COVID-19 at Peri-Peri Divers. Our Mozambican Government, SSI and the Divers Alert Network (DAN) recently issued advice to dive operators on how to safely resume operations.
While this guidance gives divers an inkling of what they can expect when returning to our dive shop the risk cannot be entirely eliminated when interacting with other people.
Below we will list what we at Peri-Peri Divers are implementing to Safeguard as best we can our staff, friends and family divers from this unprecedented pandemic.
